Overhoeks - Block J&K

For the Overhoeks urban development in Amsterdam Noord we realised two apartment complexes, Overhoeks Blocks J&K. Block J is a 28-metre building with 84 apartments, and Block K a 25-metre building with 77 apartments. Special 30-meter-long tunnel formwork were designed to improve speed and efficiency. Thanks to our expertise, tunnel formwork could be used to cast the slabs for Block K's organically shaped floors.

The Pulse

The Pulse is a development in the Amsterdam Zuidas that unites a state-of-the-art office tower, a high-quality residential building and public facilities including cafés and restaurants, a cinema and a supermarket. Construction started with the foundation and the basement. To reduce construction time, the office tower (91,8m), the residential tower (81m) and the connecting middle section (34,2m) were built simultaneously. Construction speed and efficiency was achieved through the use of climbing formwork for the office tower and Skydeck formwork for both the office and residential towers. In the construction of the office tower, we installed Cobiax void formers in the floor slabs to reduce the weight of the structure.

Hotel Moxy Düsseldorf South

Hotel Moxy is a 3-star hotel with 159 rooms. The hotel is built in an area with high earthquake sensitivity. Huge water pipes run under the building to provide a number of companies in the area behind with water. All this results in a construction that is heavily reinforced. Due to the high quality of the construction, the raw concrete works in the rooms and public areas have been delivered as final visible work.
